Tester Program Information: Please Read Entirely

You are buying the drop(s) at a discounted price IN RETURN for IN-USE PHOTOS to be posted to the facebook group within 7 days of receiving your drop(s).

PHOTOS & SHARING:  We ask that you first share your tester images on our group page Lilly Bear Studio Props & Backdrops - Group Page on Facebook. After which we ask that you share your beautiful images using our backdrops any other time you can.

FACEBOOK: Please make sure to tag and credit and post on our business page Lilly Bear Studio Props & Backdrops on Facebook and 
on instagram @lillybearstudioprops.

If you are posting in another photography group please credit either our business page and/or group page to refer others to our business.

PROMOTE US: If you love Lilly Bear Studio Props & Backdrops please help spread the word! The larger the group grows the more we can offer larger discounts. Feel free to share this group everywhere you can and your photographer friends.

BY PURCHASING A TESTER YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING:

If you cannot meet the requirements, outlined below. You WILL be billed for the FULL PRICE of the drop(s).

Treat us as you would treat your own clients. We are providing you a sizeable monetary discount in exchange for QUALITY photographs of our products.

1. PHOTOGRAPH THE ENTIRE SET: Testers we are asking you to photograph as much of the the entire backdrop and/or entire floordrop as you possibly can. Please make sure to get those FULL backdrop shots before getting the close-ups. We require a full photo of the backdrop, you are welcome to send close-ups as 'extra' shots.

**Please note**
 Non-typical crops are okay to get the whole backdrop in the final image.

HOW TO SHOOT YOUR TESTER:
a. Do not cut off the design.
b. Photograph the design horizontal if it is oriented horizontal.
c. Photograph the design vertical if it is oriented vertical.
d. If the design is a texture or solid/semi-solid design you can photograph it whichever orientation you prefer.

2. Please keep in mind that we cannot use the images to advertise if you pair our floordrop with another competitor's backdrop or floordrop.

If you do not have one of our backdrops or floordrops please photograph the tester image in another manner such as: with a plain fabric or savage backdrop, your own real wood/panels, or from above showing as much of the floordrop as possible. If you are testing a wood floordrop and do not have anything to pair it with, you can also photograph this from above. 

3. Please do NOT have your subject directly against the backdrop!

Proper distance for the model is generally 4-5 feet away from the backdrop to create a separation between the subject and the backdrop. The backdrop should be in the depth of field/bokeh.

You must be able to shoot at 2.8 or lower, while getting your subjects in focus. 

4. Please perform any basic edits needed to the image(s). Pop the colour if needed, sharpen, colour correct, fix white balance issues - this is encouraged.

Please DO NOT add any actions that change the colouring of the backdrop.

We would like to receive images that would entice other photographers to buy the backdrop because of *YOUR* photos!

Please provide *PROFESSIONAL* quality images. The following standards need to be met. You will be asked to re-shoot or re-edit if it does not properly show the backdrop or colours.
  • Please provide properly lit images.
  • NO on-camera flash photography.
  • Please have appropriate studio lighting (PLM, soft box, umbrella, or a proper grasp on how to use natural lighting).
  • Proper white balance. Please no dark, muddy, or off-colour images.
  • Sharp images only. Please do not submit out of focus or grainy images.
  • Proper knowledge of how to export your images in full and web-resolution
6. You are an experienced studio photographer and not a beginner.
Image quality we are looking for. Can you produce quality like this?


6. The deadline for return of the images is within 7 business days after the date of delivery. If you do not submit your images on time you will be BILLED the difference in price for the backdrops you purchased. If you have a problem meeting that time frame due to an emergency email lillybearstudioprops@gmail.com immediately and we will be happy to help.

7. TURN AROUND:
Turn around time 
is anywhere from 2-4 weeks from date of submission to the printer (timing depends on which material you order so please leave ample time when ordering). The range in timing is based on volume of orders. If you are looking for a rush order (by a specific date) please purchase your order from our website. We do *NOT* guarantee the arrival of your tester backdrop shipment by a specific date. 

We will send tracking information to your e-mail address when once your order has been shipped.

*Once an order has been put into production with the printer IT CANNOT BE refunded. There are no exceptions to this policy.

8. MODELS: 
Please pre-plan, talk to your models prior to the shoot; share an image of the design(s) and come up with what the subject will wear to match the theme (ie. please don't just use anyone in random street clothes and have them stand-in "just to get us images on time" (we won't be able to use those images for advertising).



9. PROPS/DECOR:
Please use appropriate props and accessories if it works with the design, to enhance the scene (without covering too much of it). We are looking for you to put effort into the set-ups as you would for your clients. It doesn't take much make the scene "come alive." Please have the items ready when the backdrop arrives.

If your scheduled shoot doesn't go well - please email us at lillybearstudioprops@gmail.com. We have all had this happen and we understand. We would rather have images we can use of a happy cooperative models versus crying or uncooperative models (which we will not be able to use).

Please reschedule uncooperative models.
11. By participating in this program you understand that Lilly Bear Studio Props & Backdrops will be permitted to use these images for advertising their products on various websites and all forms of social media.

12.  Please check the email address you provided us with at checkout. If you do not see anything, please check your junk mail. This is where you will receive all information regarding your tester.

    STORE POLICY
    Although you are purchasing these designs in our Facebook group the same policies that are on our official website apply to your purchases, so please read the FAQs carefully before you submit payment for your order here.

    If you purchase testers you may NOT RESELL THEM FOR MORE THAN YOU PAID. This discount is a privilege for our customers. If you don’t recall what you paid please email us at lillybearstudioprops@gmail.com and we will get you the information.
